Time to post part 9 of the 16th AA.
April '94 and the very last fighter regiments were ready to go.
First to go out was the 33rd IAP from Wittstock. Their first leg would get them to Damgarten where they withdrew together with the 773rd IAP, a few days later.
First to go was this An-26 of the 226 OSAP from Sperenberg, acting as support.

MiG-29 Fulcrum-A of the 33rd IAP "Bort 07" flies out for the short trip, direction Damgarten.

Two Fulcrums went "tech" so the last pair had the honours to do a fly-by over the flight-line. Fulcrums smoking like Phantoms ...

Star of the day, wasn't maybe the Fulcrum but a Il-78 Midas in Aeroflot colors. It brought in some fuell for the MiG's.

A few days later, we met the 33rd IAP again but this time at Damgarten, together with the rareties of the 773rd IAP.
